A Rustic Ranch In the Heart of Route 66, Kingman, AZ

Upton’s Hidden Pines
Welcome to a magical place for your wedding or function. We have three guest rooms and a spacious, ranch-style great room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy library with satellite tv and internet.

Upton’s Hidden Pines Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located on Route 66 between the Grand Canyon to the east, Las Vegas to the west, with a variety of interesting locations nearby including the Hoover Dam, Laughlin, and Lake Havasu City.
History
This 5 acre property, owned and operated by Tommie Grounds Upton and David Upton, and managed by James (Shorty) Todd, has been in Tommie’s family since 1926, when the well on site provided much needed water to the west pastures of the W.F. Cattle Co. Upton’s Hidden Pines Bed and Breakfast provides the perfect opportunity to experience nature and history with modern convenience.
Originally constructed as a home for the Uptons, Upton’s Hidden Pines came to be a Route 66 destination when Tommie and David decided that so much beauty and tranquility should be available to others to share in. When you stay at Upton’s Hidden Pines, you truly feel at home.
The rich local history of Upton’s Hidden Pines is intertwined with a matching rich family history beginning with Tommie’s grandfather, William Grounds. Throughout the home one can observe various western artifacts once belonging to Tommie’s father Howard Grounds and William that were once used in their day to day operation of the ranch. In honor of the wealth of history and local connectivity that Upton’s Hidden Pines shares, a magnificent stone fireplace and hearth mark the center of the great room built from stones from the old Kingman Chamber of Commerce and stones from Howard’s own collections.

Come stay at Upton’s Hidden Pines and you won’t just experience the family and history, you’ll become part of it. See you soon!

Front Porch Sittin’
Upton’s Hidden Pines Bed & Breakfast invites you to experience its relaxing atmosphere and to become reacquainted with the art of front porch sittin’. When visiting our bed and breakfast, you will be treated to a spectacular 360-degree view of some of Mohave County’s most beautiful vistas in a completely stress-free environment where you can leave your worries behind.
Sit and watch the world go by on the wide porch completely surrounding the main floor with plenty of seating for a spectacular view of Arizona’s magnificent sunsets. From there you might see a cotton tail rabbit in a cat claw bush or hear the call of the quail and dove nearby. A large patio is located on the second floor for a more private outdoor experience. This beautiful retreat is designed to make your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and has wheelchair accessibility and other ADA compliance amenities for our guests.
So, come and stay a spell. Connect with nature at its best. Find relaxation and restoration. Kick your shoes off, sip some ice-cold lemonade and experience fine front porch sittin’ for yourself – there’s nothing like it!
